The 11th Boston Printmakers Student Print Exhibition will be held on November 17 – December 13 at The Mazmanian Gallery, at Framingham State University. Additionally, modest size 3-d prints and book art will be shown in the Henry Whittemore Library.  We will involve students and faculty from many area colleges and universities in the New England area and award more than twenty prizes to outstanding student printmakers including prizes from our sponsors Gamblin, Colart Americas,Speedball, and Legion Paper.
The Boston Printmakers Student Print Exhibition is a very competitive juried show of approximately 100 student prints from 17 colleges and universities in New England. Selections are juried by a panel of non-teaching members of The Boston Printmakers Board. The show will run in tandem with a show of affiliated faculty at the Danforth Art Museum at Framingham State University.
This year we are initiating a special event – a Forum for Young Printmakers. Students will experience a full-day program of talks by professionals and print reviews organized by The Boston Printmakers.
The application process, the rigorous jurying, and the ultimate show itself give students valuable experience in preparing and exhibiting their work in a professional environment. The exhibition, in turn, exposes the public to the significant quality and broad range of student printmaking work being done in New England colleges and universities.
