Pork (or Chicken) Fried Rice
INGREDIENTS
2 lbs of pork (or chicken) cut into 1/2 inch squares
1 cup green peppers medium chopped
1 cup onions medium chopped
1 cup mushrooms medium chopped
5 garlic cloves finely chopped
2 oz. soy sauce
2 oz. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup uncooked rice
3 tbsp. cooking oil
Cook one cup of rice (makes about three cups cooked) and set aside.
Place the garlic and cooking oil in a wok and fry until light brown.
Add the green peppers, mushrooms, onions and cook until brown.
Remove from wok. Fry pork (or chicken) in wok until brown. Add already
cooked mixture. Add rice and stir fry with the Worcestershire
sauce and soy sauce until brown.
This dish is great right away but is also good for several days if
microwaved.
