Tomato Garlic Tortellini

3 Tablespoons chopped garlic
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 4 1/2 ounce can of diced tomatoes
¼ Cup fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
½ Cup Chablis or other dry wine
3 or 4 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon pepper or less
1 20 ounce package frozen tortellini cooked according to
package directions to be added after the sauce is
made. (You can use other frozen pasta.)
Brown garlic in the olive oil and then add rest of the sauce ingredients.
Cook until heated and wine disappears, about 10 minutes
or so. In the meantime cook the package of tortellini according to
directions, drain, and add to sauce. Heat through and serve.
