Fruit Compote with Liqueur

Use about 5 cups of fruit
Serves 6
INGREDIENTS
strawberries, (blueberries, peaches or other fruit) about 3 cups
2 apples, peeled and sliced
1 orange, peeled and sliced
lemon zest
1 or 2 bananas, sliced
1 half cup pineapple/orange/banana mixed juice
add 2-3 tablespoons of rum or fruit flavored brandy
optional: half cup of walnuts, dried cranberries
Mix all ingredients in bowl, cover and cool in refrigerator for about
2 hours.
