It is indeed an educational exhibition answering the frequently asked question, “How is it made?” Each print has an accompanying “recipe card” sharing its inspiration and process. It is aimed at not only art lovers but also student groups. The range of expression in each print medium is extensive and captivating.

Boston Printmakers Field Report 2008

W. Keith and Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Ca
November 10 – December 12, 2009
Thank you to Shari Wesson, gallery director and Boston Printmaker member Dirk Hagner, who teaches close by Pomona and provided the photos. We are grateful to have the entire 180 piece members exhibition installed in this generous space. Enjoy the show!
Note from Shari Wasson, Pomona, CA:
"I wanted to give a hearty THANK YOU! to [The Boston Printmakers] as well as to all the artists in Field Report. It was a pleasure to host this show, and it was well-received by our community. Some visitors even returned for a second look, as the show contained such a wealth of imagery, they needed 2 visits to really see it all! The gallery staff and I were familiar with all the pieces, after having placed and hung them. Still, over the course of the show there was always something new to catch our attention and invite us in to 'savor' and contemplate. Thank you, again for sharing this exhibition with our campus and our community."
