PHOTO GALLERY: The Traveling Flat File

To answer a question often-asked: “Who are the Boston Printmakers?” This collection of members’ works will inform the viewing public with prints! The Boston Printmakers Traveling Flat File will present the best in contemporary and traditional printmaking, from members across North America. Over the two year span, it will enable us to reach many collectors, curators, artists and students with signature works that represent who we are!

The TFF will be shown at multiple venues over the period of two years. Works will be for sale, although the venue will be fairs and conferences.

Shipping
Please plan to mail your prints to arrive in Cambridge between January 22-28, 2019, and write The Boston Printmakers on package and in the shipping address:
The Boston Printmakers
Lesley University
29 Everett Street
Cambridge MA, 02138 U.S.A.

Packing
All shipped work must be sent in a sturdy,  re-usable tube*. Please protect rolled work by using a protective paper longer than the height of the print and able to fit flatly in the tube. Rolled work should spring open against the inside of the tube to avoid shifting in transit.  Tube should exceed artwork by 2” at both ends, and please secure protective paper to tube and cushion both tube ends with padding, also secured in place. No peanuts please.  *If you prefer to mail/ship works flatly in sturdy, reusable packaging, you may do so.

Please note the shipping dates to receive work at Lesley University and contact exhibitioninfo@bostonprintmakers.org if you have any delay to meet the calendar window, or if you have any questions about the project. You are not required to use a shipper (UPS, FedEx, etc) and do not need to provide a return shipping label. You may select USPS or any carrier and insurance amount of your choice.

Also note the shipping address (above) and address for the hand drop-off location (below) are not the same. You do not need to put your print in a tube for hand delivery.
