Busy Mom’s Spaghetti

1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce. I use Prego.
3 pre-made meatballs per person. I use Trader Joe’s.
Brown them if you have time.
Fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 large cloves fresh garlic, chopped. I love garlic.
1 teaspoon sugar
Black pepper to taste
A little salt
1 tablespoon water
Spaghetti noodles
Throw everything (except for the noodles) into the sauce at the
same time. Stir gently to mix it well. Heat just until it starts to
bubble. Lower to simmer, partially cover it (be sure air can escape).
Simmer from fifteen minutes (if you’re in a rush) to an hour (if you
love garlic flavor like I do). Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles.
You’ll be surprised how good and homemade-tasting this is.
